 Three years after the completion of their new cathedral, Evangel Church commissioned Harbor View Contractors, Inc. to renovate the old church building to serve as a conferencing center and banquet hall. With the addition of large view windows, new bulkheads, lowered ceiling and removable wall partitions, the new 67,500 square foot conference facility is able to support several simultaneous events. The banquet hall is supported by a new state-of-the-art 8,000 SF commercial kitchen (4,000 SF per floor) enabling the facility to host prime events for the Washington metropolitan area. The luxurious banquet hall interior exhibits a richly marbled lobby, lavish carpet, and imported Austrian crystal chandeliers. Bride and groom dressing rooms are each furnished to supply the finest of comfort.  |
